2013 Phase 1


Phase 1 is all about Strength.  The Wendler program typically consists on Strict Press, Deadlift, Squat, & Bench Press.  Each cycle is 4 weeks.  During this time, I’m not doing a ton of MetCon or cardio workouts.  The running is generally light pace unless I’m feeling good.  I’ll be giving the Tough Mudder a go half way through this phase, so that should be a good test to see where I am.  It might be tough to do an 18 or 20 mile long run without doing much during the week.  We’ll see and tweak as needed.
